Ditto. She may have 'done good' w/ charity, but her devotion to suffering as a way to 'god' is reprehensible to me personaly. I think she was a sham and a propoganda for the church. All you have to do is see the living conditions she provided in her 'waiting to die' facilities.
The ending of all recent Denon rcvrs relates to the model year. I.E. 5805 was a 2005 model year, 5804/3804, etc was 2004. This is of course a rough guide, but a good way to place the model in time...

I've had really good luck with my 5 year old Mitsubishi WS65819. It's 'old school' rear projection, but the picture still looks fantastic, and it's had a LOT of use. Only problem now is a) no DVI/HDMI inputs b) no 1080p :(

The reason you got reception in the metro areas is because they send those signals over terretrial antennas. Obviously the sat antenna or head unit had problems w/ getting a sat signal.

Speaking from experience I can say you DO NOT want this to happen to you. Putting on a jacket/helmet/etc is not that hard. Having skin is a very nice thing.

Didn't the 360 have heat issues in the pre-release consoles which were in stores? And weren't some people hanging their 360's power bricks up in the air to avoid overheating? Seems to be a pattern. I think these things (just like the 360) are simply going to be massive heat producers.
Wait for dual players or go the fun route and get a 360+HD-DVD and a PS3. That way for a little more than $1K you get 2 consoles plus both movie formats!
Yup - that was the rear fog lamp. Some people think it's cool to drive with them on all the time, or they are too dumb to realize they have it on, or don't even know they have one in the first place!
