How to Disable movie preview in explorer??

i was just trying to find out before i opened the package. So if they are made by CMC i can return them ;-) So bassically im wondering if anyone bought some recently (ones with the same UPC or Part#) and has used a program such as DVDinfo on them.

AT&T cable to Comcast.. now 1GB bandwidth limit per MONTH!? WTF?

I also had unlimited with ATTBI. Damn, Comcast! I am using Grabit, and all i did was just change the sever name from netnews.attbi.com, to netnews.comcast.net. (im not sure if that the excate sever names) I was wondering did anybody have to get an user name and password to access the comcast...

What is best Firewall software to get?

i have been using Tiny Personal Firewall 2.0.15a for awhile now, never have a need for upgrading...... i like it. I use to have ZoneAlarm, but i ran into some problems with it. Every once-in-awhile it would like my network connection...

quick simple ?: about a HD running off a PCI IDE card..

If you have a harddrive running off of a PCI IDE controller card will the OS still have the ability to put the Harddrive into Sleep Mode?

Good DVD+RW (or both formats) burner for cheapp...

i just picked of the new px-504a drive from mwave last week. So far everything has been working very smoothly. I know that there are other very similar dvd+rw drives out there, but i have allways relied on plextor as a quality company, so im sticking with them. -neil

i am thinking about picking up a new large HD most likely the WD2000JB (ne comments on this drive?)

well i just order the WD2000JB from Frys, i figured that the price was pretty damn good ;-) neways i was wondering if it would be bad to set up this drive as one big partition? i am just going to use it for media storage. so i probley will never have to defrag it. thanks -neil

well me seagate 80gb drive is pratically full, so i have been thinking about picking up a new HD. I am figuring that i might as well buy a new HD that is At least twice as big. So between the 160 to 200gb HDs there seem to be only a few drives to select from. IBM, Maxtor, and Westerndigital...

Has anyone seen any Reviews on the new Plextor PX-504A dvd burner????

i havent found any as of yet. I think that im am ready to purchase a dvd burner, i currently have a plextor 12/10/32A CD burner and have been 100% satisfied with its reliablity and proformace so i figured that i would stick with the plextor line of burners. -neil

is there a way to get around not using WMP9? Everthing was great with my WMP 6.4.

i have been using WMP6.4 for the longest time. I havent had any problems with using WMP6.4 until the new WMP9 came out. It seem that alot of web pages that contain streaming video "force" you to upgrade to WMP9 in order to view there videos. Is there any way to keep using Windows Media Player...

just a note, when you use the Ion Painter that beam come from the sattlites up in the sky. So whatever map you are in just browse the skies and look for the sattlites. no sattlites = no Ion Painter UT03 kicks!

Well i have used Ghost in the past. I like almost everything about it, except i can not get my USB HD enclosure to work in DOS. I tried using the DUSE usb dos drivers but i always get memory errors. ITs a no go. :( So what i am tring to do is just backup all my HDs onto my External USB HD...

I want to use Ghost with an external USB HD.

Best Firewall, with no spyware and works with XP.

i would stay away from zone alarm. I had problems (not that you will) on several different PCs with ZA. Everything would be working fine, but eventuly it would kill my internet connection. werid stuff. Now i have been using Tiny firewall for the last 10months and havent had i single problem...
