AMD channel partners already collected all their SPIFFS by dumping the 939's nearly 2 years ago so its really just secondary markets & stragglers that get stocks or someone buying refurb or clearance market items. AMD generally gives huge discounts/rebates or cash back to people who sell...
Nvidia is pushing a paradigm shift that will hurt intel more than it will hurt AMD since AMD is 'already there'. This paradigm shift is GPU to CPU matching and showing you don't need as much CPU to squeeze the most of of GPU and its more cost effective to match the GPU to purpose than to...
i think its socket 478 T2250 cpu after all. I'll pop open the case and make double sure its not an older socket m (which would suck) Its a dv9 series hp which seems they pushed (with same mb) all the way up to 7200 cpus. CPUz said 478 as well.
Figure i may wait it out and uprgade to a 7200...
I believe it will just be part of your 08 stated income and a pure check/refund.
While i'm sarcastic about the price of gas, i do look forward to my rebate. Several credit cards have it claimed already.
Live and learn. I don't think there was any real answer to this particular predicament. The review started because we chose to ignore his further emails. Instead of asking him to edit a review for an order that never happened i guess i should have reported it and waiting 2-3 weeks for RR to...
We do inventory some stuff and hope to open up a "Will call" pickup here in Lancaster PA. There is local demand for what the local circuit city and pc retailers don't offer. I get emails about it all day, just can't afford the human resources to support it right now.
We do everything we can to get products out. We inventory some, drop ship others and use fulfillment whenever possible.
Technology fulfillment as a whole is moving from a distribution -> warehouse -> customer more towards distribution -> customer or manufacturer -> customer because the cost...
Read my info below. We source from different warehouses and from this issue just learned to create a unique limited sku so our system wouldn't send out an automated out of stock email in such cases.
It basically worked like this - to spell it out even further.
* We load up every warehouse...
Unfortunately Thats inevitable when you source from multiple places.
What happened is distributor "A" gave me rebates - prices were reflected on the website. Deal was posted to Slck deals by someone - received dozens of orders - even one person ordering 500 cpus.
Automated Inventory...
Out of respect for myself and my former customer i would never actually post the emails.
I'm quite amazed the he posted my personal responses to RR as well as that is a violation of their terms of service.
Basically to sum up.
Order Placed, Notofication of Back order - few days - 40...
The problem is we were just to nice. I should have just canceled the order when i saw it was from Ireland but i tried to appease someone who i know is on these type of community sites because it makes it can be bonus to get a single mention on a random tech forum/community site from a merchant...
Unfortunately (And fortunately) Pricewatch doesn't allow any new merchants right now.
As far as RR goes, it seems its very important to some - would people disregard the ratings just to take a chance on the lowest price?
We provide this right now. 3 primary emails go out for each order:
* Customer Orders - Order Confirmation
* Shipping Confirmation - Tracking Details
* Thank You email - delivery confirmation
All 3 have a link to resellerratings review. Third one usually contains a coupon for a discount...
I was talking about the very near future, not the past 1-2 years. AMD/ATI had a merger in the middle of stiff competition and the past 2 years took a blow because of it.
I'm saying because of what is coming down the line that ATI/AMD has a great lineup and strategy moving forward.
Nvidia...
Ever heard of sarcasm? :)
I drive a motorcycle primarily and an affordable Kia spectra 5 @ 35mpg otherwise. Its just pretty bad when it costs 20 bucks to fill up the bike here on the east coast.
Don't count AMD out yet! The market is in another transformation that is putting more effort into GPU/Physics processing which means it won't be a mhz/ghz war and more of a GPU/CPU war and who can bridge that the quickest.
AMD Spider platform is already a cost effective multi core cpu to...
I have a T2050 based laptop that has a replaceable cpu module and was wondering if anyone has upgraded an HP dv9000 series laptop and had any experience on performance/cost ratio.
Is the 5 or 7 series the best bang/buck? Prices for large cache cpu's are more than a new laptop in new cases...
Soon enough though i hope Intel/ATI get off their butts and make publicly (consumer) available encoders that use the processing power of the GPU. No matter how scalable you make the CPU it won't compare to the dedicated streaming/parallel processing power of the GPU for graphics work.
I know...
I never had any problems with Gamefly other than the 7-10 day delivery time they had. They apparently have new warehouses but i haven't seen a lick of evidence as for things improving.
Netflix has me spoiled. Return movie monday, get replacement movie wednesday. With 3 out at a time i...
I've just changed my attitude of what luxury is. It used to be having nice/expensive things now its more so having some nice affordable things and living within my means. True luxury is when my credit cards are gone, my mortgage is done and the only payments i'll have are filling up the gas...
I use FF and IE.. pretty much 50 50.. i try to swing more towards FF but 2.x still has memory leaks like no tomorrow and i'm not jumping on 3 until the plugins are caught up
Its all in the mind of the beholder.
Obviously pinned up ideals that don't face reality isn't a good reason to make women wear shirts - sexist in itself :)
I've reached a difficult phase of our startup and its really something i feel i should "ping" the community on.. after all, who better to hear from than the horses mouth itself.
Anyway, i've had a string of harsh reviews on reseller ratings. One in particular from a customer that canceled his...
The MA790FX has been good for me. Gigabyte still considers it an active product so bios updates are still coming through..
The biggest issue with the 790fx is the completely abysmal support of ddr1066..
I think i'll try and wait out till the new 45nm revisions. 9850 sounds nice but the reality is it probably wouldn't feel much faster than my 9600 for what i do. Encoding videos may go quicker but a slight oc and disabling the errata and my 9600 has no probs grinding out videos :)
X3350/3320 and E3110 xeons all seem to run fine on the "consumer" boards. I haven't had any returns from compatibility issues. Some people have purchased a celery though to boot & flash and to keep around on hand in case something does go wrong (not that you would want a celeron for anything...
I do appreciate all the feedback and understand the concern(s) of shopping with a new company.
A deal that seems to good to be true is usually - too good to be true ;) But we try and work hard for some of our deals to make a good impression in hopes that people will appreciate that and...
