They are backing off on the DRM stuff and say that they will completely remove it soon. It was stupid of them to do it the way they did, but it shouldn't be a reason to not buy the game IMO.

New case from cooler master

The stock fans are really quiet, but don't provide much airflow. I'm going to get some 140mm yate loons and a few 120mm yates to replace the current ones. You can have 5 140mm fans in this case!!! plus 2 or 3 more 120mm ones. So far it's been a great case to work in. I love the easy cable...

Abit IP35-E Heatsink for Q6600

I have an Ultima 90 and it fits fine so i'm guessing the Ultra 120 extreme will too.

Thermalright Ultima 90 is out :)

I don't know what is with all the complaints, but mine is working fine. You can turn it when it is installed, but not very easily. The temps are fine though maybe not as good as the 120 extreme, but I got it for it's smaller size so I am happy.

I have a E4400, 2gb Ballistix ddr2 800, IP35-E, XFX 7900gs, Corsair 520hx. I've tried all of my components (other than mobo) in another computer, and I've tried different ram, cpu, video card, and psu with the IP35-E. I've taken it out of the case and reset the cmos multiple times, but nothing...

Apparently my PSU wasn't my problem. My board went back to not booting. It was running fine for 2 days with xp installed then all the sudden went back to what it had been doing and won't boot at all. What could be messed up that it only sometimes boots? I'm tired of messing with all these...

Arctic Cooling MX-2

I have some. It isn't as thick as AS5, but I don't know if that made it easier or harder to apply. I don't have any before or after temps with AS5 or anything, but it is great thermal paste. It is keeping my CPU very cool.

Abit IP35-E Review (500MHz FSB board)...$90 @ NewEgg + $6.61 ship

My board is alive! The problem was my crappy psu. I got a corsair 520 and everything is working great. I'm running my e4400 at 2.8ghz on my first overclock attempt and am in the process of pushing it a little further. EDIT: Now at 3.2ghz. :)

Abit IP35-E Review (500MHz FSB board)...$90 @ NewEgg + $6.61 ship

I just received my IP35-E and...it's dead. I tried everything to get it to post, different ram, different cpu, different vid card, different power supply, nothing. It powers up, but just won't post. I guess I'll have to RMA it. I've never had to RMA anything so I hope it goes smoothly. Any advice?

CPU Fan Header Question

I just got a Ultima 90 and I also have a motherboard with a 4 pin CPU fan header. I went with the Scythe Kama PWM 92mm. It is one of the only 92mm fans that I saw that has the 4 pin connecter. I'm almost positive that you can use a 3 pin fan without any trouble though, so just get whichever...

There are at least 2 people in this thread that said that they got freezer 7's in and facing the right way. One person posted pictures. It looks really tight, but it can be done.

You're right I measured again and it is 38-39mm. I guess I'm the one that sucks at measuring. :) I took the tape off that says IP35-E and on the board under it is IP35. I don't know if this is the right topic for this, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a northbridge heatsink that...

I took off my northbridge and southbridge heatsinks to clean and apply some artic silver. The northbridge has a little piece of rubber or something that is used as a thermal pad I guess. I took it off and put some artic silver in it's place. I hope the temps are slightly better because of it...

It's about 44-45mm to the top of the NB heatsink. I would like to get a ultima 90 cooler, but it doesn't look like it will fit. Any one have any recommendations on a good northbridge cooler that will work with an ultima 90 or Artic Cooling freezer 7?

Upgrading the PC. Which to choose?

I just ordered the exact same setup as you. I went for the e4400. I think it will be the better buy than a e2140 because of the extra cache. Some people keep saying that cache size won't effect performance, but it will. I will be using mine for alot of gaming and will upgrade to penryn down...

Need help picking a budget c2d mb

The P35-S3L would definitely be the better buy. The P35 chipset is newer than the 965. It will support the upcoming Intel processors. Gigabyte also has a P35-DS3L which has solid capped capacitors, but not really any other new features. It is about the same price as the S3L $85-90 so you might...
