I was wondering if I can pull out a light OC (Q9450 2.67 @ 3.2) by only adjusting RAM voltage and CPU voltage and let the rest of the voltage settings on auto ? Could this cause me problems with auto setting trying fun things like over shooting or under shooting some settings such as North...

I wouldn't make that move myself but my wife need a little extra power in her rig and I want to take full advantage of my present setup before changing platform which shouldn't be done anytime soon.

I think a lot of those temps are reported inaccurately. Honestly, I have been trying out quite a bit of softwares to read temps and it's seems rather hard to get credible or accurate reading from most of them. Even using the few best known program might result in discrepancies. Many people...

Name one major game you didn't enjoy!

Contrary to many here, I certainly enjoyed Diablo 2 and LOD but it's getting old now. Game I didn't enjoy, WC3. I bought it, played it like 2 hours and got bored. Been there done that. I hate FPS game in general, too many of them for my taste in the gaming industry.

What's your personal playing time record for Steam games?

I can't put an exact number of hours on it but when Diablo II LOD came out I must have played easly between 120-150 hours in the frist 2 weeks and my playing time was probably over 50 hours a week for many of the following weeks.

Did anyone play old Sierra or LucasArts games?

I have played a couple of the early sierra's games. One I remember was a kind of RPG in which you would fight with magic and such. I don't remember the title but I remember that you needed a boot disk to play it. I was never able to finish the game because at some point it would just crash.

Best bang for buck CPU, $100

I was about to suggest the same setup. I've seen a couple of people getting their 3600 to 2.7 - 2.9 range. Obviously, you'll need a better than stock cooler but that's where the real deal lies. Low end CPU + OC.

That's funny, cause I tried that myself and I am not getting into the selection screen. It goes right into windows without stopping at that screen.

You mean, the only adjustments you did to speedfan is an offset of + 15 on both cores and that's it ? If this the case, are you able to corroborate these readings with another program ? From what I could gather form Graysky guide, I thought that the + 15 offset was for Quads !

I don't know what option 1 et 2 do. It seems there still plenty of options to explore in this BIOS. As for memory voltage, I use the information given in Speedfan = Vcore2. It seems a tad high and I don't think you can adjust it with an offset . It reads 2.22 but should rather read 2.1...
