I forgot which, but at least one of the game streaming services (maybe Nvidia's own Geforce Now) uses these to run games in the cloud.
GPUs have lots of latency hiding mechanisms but they incur costs. RDNA was designed to lower shader latencies by widening simd width to 32. The rational was lower latency means fewer warps needed said latency means smaller number of registers needed to sustain perf.
Oh... didn't realize there is such an option in the bios. I only mentioned "Enhanced" because I saw a guide that said all USB 2.0 controllers have "Enhanced' as part of their name in device manager. I haven't seen the option in my bios before but I'll check it when I get home. Thanks!
I haven't tested the speed of the rear IO USB ports but the device manager does not report any Enhanced USB controllers. My Windows XP came with SP2. Anything I can do?
I can't seem to get usb 2.0 working and couldn't find any other threads with any answer... I've tried downloading from gigabyte but they don't have the drivers and intel's site is seriously confusing me. Where do you get the drivers?
