your opinion on the Geforce2 MX400 cards...

btw: kyro 1 have the same performance as any MX400... I think they are cheaper than the mx400 . right? not forgetting the increase in quality output you would get with any kyro. 2d and 3d....

do you think that good drivers can get mx400 playable at 1024x768x32.. well it doesn't. MX400 lack bandwidth to do T&L... T&L needs lots of bandwidth power and mx400 doesn't have any of those... it lack enough bandwidth to get playable fps at normal resolutions 1024x768x32.... kyro 2 have both...

hum... well.... nvidia drivers are not that great.. ati drivers are also great like kyro 2 drivers (my last kyro drivers don't have a week of life) you will get something superior if you go non-nvidia... and cheaper....

Hercules dumps Nvidia like a cheap hooker!! Goes ATi for the near future!!

yeah!!!! now they will sell ati and kyro boards... nvidia is hurting manufactures like 3dfx did with the STB deal (in a different way), nvidia want to control what the manufactures sell... that is very very annoying for manufactures like hercules...

I still have to find a single bug in windows xp drivers.. none.. my UT opengl bugs went away like that bug with the choices of resolutions... sweet..

they didn't said that it was incompatibile.... yeap it runs on direct3d or opengl. the problem is their's recomendations for more power... only nvidia...that nvidia mx 400 recomendations is great... hilarious... I would like that some of you with ati radeon 8500 test that pseudo benchmark...

open your eyes man... they said that my system was 1451% better than the minimum required and they said to upgrade to a nvidia card? why not ATI? why I have to buy a nvidia board? $$$$$$$$$ is the answer.... it's nothing to do with windows or X-86 nvidia is getting to much power... some day...

I have no problems in direct3d (I only use d3d in U.T.) minor bugs in opengl prevent me to play in OGL in U.T. one bug is annoying me there... UT only have 2 resolutions avaiable 1280x0124 and 1280x960 I don't even have a profile for U.T. on kyro driver optimization. try reinstall UT again...

why not hercules 4500 the same price has any radeon le but much much better.. I played max payne at 1024x768x32 with everything on with no problems (athlon xp 1700+ 1466 mhz)

"faster the ram dac is, the better your 2D performance will be, any card over 300mhz is more than enough though, unless you have more than 20 pages open on your desktop at once. Personaly I would buy the 8500 just to have that 400mhz ram dac and higher mem/core speed spec, overall it will last...

bfg: I already said that if there is enough processor power kyro will be better at minimmum FPS I guess for giants there is not enough processing power for kyro with a regular athlon... as for czech republic... try to find out the PIB per capita for the two countries and take conclusions
