I found the first hour or 2 of the game to be rather boring and linear. It wasn't until the first battle against humans that the world opened up and the game came into its own. It got even better when you move into the Western portions of the map. The story doesn't really start revealing...

Hunting animals for resources was without a doubt the most tedious part of the game. If every animal you killed dropped all of the parts that animal can provide, it might not have been so bad. I actually had more problems procuring parts from the fish. I hope they come up with a better system...

I've never played them, but from videos I have seen it looks like it is more combat driven. The later games are actually considered fairly hard.

Still can't get a Switch

In the Richmond Metro Area, there are three places where there are 2 Gamestops within 1,000 feet of each other. There are 16 Gamestops within a 30 minute drive of my house. 11 Targets, 12 Walmarts but only 3 Best Buys. I wouldn't consider Richmond a huge city though.

I don't see what incentive Sony would possibly have for announcing a new console. They've already sold 60 Million+ PS4s and are still selling them. They have at least 3-4 years worth of games in the pipeline being developed for PS4

It benefits Nintendo too. They are profiting off of the games and some of the accessory sales as well. Short supply is also partially Nintendo's fault.

thanks for the link. I tried using one of the other Horus tentacles as a bridge but ended up falling. The fact that there is so much detail in that area, really make me think the DLC may end up having you go through there to access Ban-Ur

HMMM...I wonder if the new area is going to link up to the area near the Grave Hoard that I mentioned above. This DLC is obviously going to be about the Banuk and you can see a Banuk statue off in that area which seems to be unreachable.

trying to go console gaming instead of PC

I consider myself both, but my PC is over 15 years old, I've been putting off buying parts to build a new one for about 13 years how. I kept on buying PC games even though my computer couldn't run them, and I have even re-bought many of those games for console.
