    They make 8xPCIE?? If you're refering to AGP then it wont physically fit. If there is such a thing as an 8xPCI-E, you dont loose too much perofrmance.

    Its nvidia's way of increasing performance. ATi cards do not suffer from this problem at all. To increase performance, nvidia cards render very dark colours as simple blacks as its faster to render that :P ATi ftw :)

    Lol, you lie badly :P At 1440x900 no AA tweaked DX10/XP settings (very high) I get average 35-40fps with: Q6600@ 3006MHz HD 3870 @ 825/2400 2GBDDR2 Gigabyte P35 DS3R. Pritty nifty for a cheap pc :D

    Try putting the monitor into a different power outlet entirely. See if that effects it. Maybe just a weak power line your computer is using, and a bigger monitor uses more power, reducing power to computer.

    I very much doubt that. My 7950GT gets the sameish framerates to a 8600 and I get 6500 on 3dmark06. Your score is fine.

    Neever use a PSU that comes with the case! If you're using good parts then thats an even bigger no-no! If you're overclocking then you're just asking for trouble.

    With me I can either run Crysis shaders high at 1024x768 and have it look terrible (due to resolution) at about 25fps OR shaders on medium at 1440x900 and have it crisp and lovely at about 25fps. Overall it looks better with the higher resolution.
