Okay so I can't my Q6600 G0 to O/C any higher on my DS3R at 8x400 (3.2ghz). I've read the how to overclock gigabyte xxx thread and the how to overclock C2D/quadcore thread.
A funny thing is that I can get to 3.2 ghz at a 1.35 vcore but I can't get it to 3.3ghz at like 1.375 or higher...

the problem is fixed after i placed my bios back at default. Didn't try to OC it again... and about the stable.. it was under prime95 (all four cores stressed) for many.. many hours. Think it was an OC issue?

Well, doesn't the Q6600 run faster or the same as the best dual-core AMD CPUs right now?
If that's true, then future applications/games will support the quad-core technology... thus making the Q6600 the most viable option in my view.
