Well, I tried +0.3V. I couldn't get even to Windows.
I just run 20 hours of Prime 95 with 1.45V and FSB430. (+0.4V for DIMM) System is stable.
But I noticed that by lowering FSB to 420 system boots lot faster. Or well, actually the speeding happens after logging in to system, software...
I was suggested the 1.45V so I tried it. And posted results.
But Im definetly not overvolting RAM. GA-P35C-DS3R manual says 1.8V is the stock voltage for DIMM. Crucial Ballistix are specced for 2.2V (4-4-4-12 @ 800MHz and 5-5-5-15 @ 1000MHz). Ill add my spec from work. :)

Tried both FSB440 and FSB450. Windows quickly got unresponsive so back at FSB430. Hopefully this is stable. :>

Currently running FSB430. Temps peak at 66C' in Prime95 torture test, although most of the time 61-64C'.
So anyways, any idea how high FSB can I get with the 1.4V?
It wasn't even stable. Running 430 @ 1.45V now. Already crashed with 450 and 440. :>

I noticed a HUGE speed difference in start up when I've 3x 1GB vs 2x 1GB, so Im definetly keeping at least 3GB in.
Short memtest86+ testing showed that 3GB can be run @ 960MHz, 4-4-4-12 @ 2.2V and that's enough for me. Problem is, upping FSB means I need to lower...
I built the computer from scratch now.
Re-attached Tuniq Tower myself and it seems that the morons that put it together, attached the fan wrong way.
Running FSB430 now (3.44GHz) with VCore 1.4V, peaking 66C'. Much better than the 81C'. :D
Im thinking I won't up the VCore from 1.4V...
But that's the thing.
There DEFINETLY is a problem. And not only with my system, but friend with different mobo has similar issue with his RAMs as well. 2x 1GB ballistix + 2x 1000MHz Mushkin.
With 4x1GB he got only 856MHz out of the RAMs with 4-4-4-12 and 890MHz with 5-5-5-15 (or so called...

Noticed that it was hell to try running OCed system with 4x 1GB Ballistix. Although Prime gave no errors, there were some randoms BSoDs, hanging, error messages etc.
Well, anyways, currently running with 2x 1GB sticks (870MHz / 4-4-4-12). FSB reasonable 435 (3.48GHz)...
Well, that's true, but lets say a processor can last... 1000 years with normal temps (55C') . And half of that with 65C' - and half of that in 75C' - and half of that in 85C'. :o

MCH and FSB normal.
Core temps in idle 44-46C'. 66-68 in burn. Stable.
As said my computer was prebuilt (motherboard+processor+cooler+casing). So I didn't attach the Tuniq Tower myself. Although I've been messing around with PCs since 386's, I've never attached a cooler, believe or not! :D
I guess I should re-attach the cooler then, although I don't find idle...
Nope, Tjunction is supposed to be 100C' for G0-stepping E6750. That I do know.
And that means that G0-ones can, in theory, take +15C' temperatures.
Anyways, the system is now perfectly stable. Only problem is the fact that my new soundcard, Auzentech Prelude doesn't work that well (yet)...

Temps lowered quite a lot when I simply opened the door of the case. This case seriously sucks for overclocking. It's SO CRAMPED. I think you can't even fit 8800 GTX/Ultra in here. 28.5cm from back plates to upper HDD rack.

Okay, temps are bit better now. Antec p182b is a case you SHOULD NOT take for overclocking, it's simply too small and cramped. With FSB440 my idle temps went down from 50-51C' to 44-45C' by opening the side wall.
Time to check how that effected burn temps.
Much better, around 10C' drop...
Well, at morning other thread had failed due to a rounding error. Lowered voltages and back to FSB 440.
I still can't understand what's wrong with the temps, I mean what on earth can I do to get them down?

E6750 is G0 and Tjunction is 100C' instead of 85C'. Does this mean I can "safely" push my E6750 to 75C' which would be "old 60C'"? Intel did raise the Tjunction for a reason, didn't they?

Kinda pathetic results with 4x 1GB Crucial BallistiX PC2-6400 though. Running those on 2.2V, but even with 5-5-5-15 Im not getting to even Windows if I try running these with the 2.4 multiplier with 440 FSB (1056MHz)...

Found out that the 470 FSB wasn't stable at all...
I've ran 9 hours of Prime95 torture test now, temps are 73-75C (latest Coretemp) - seems stable, so Ill stick here. Time to move to RAM & GPU. :)
440 x 8 = 3.52GHz, Tower Tuniq 120 (possibly bad contact since the high temp?), Antec p182b...

1) legacy usb storage detect --> disabled
2) smart fan control --> legacy
3) no-execute memory protect --> disabled
I've 500GB external HDD, guess that had something to do with the point #1
