Monitor-no signal

I have a benq 24 inch(about 3 years old). I put together my new pc, hooked it up to the monitor and turned it on and i kept seeing "no signal". I decided to try HDMI over the normal cable(its the white one with 2 sets of prongs and single flat prong). Still the same result. Wondering if it...

Help with my build(gaming machine)

Ah ok, after reading that because i had vista ultimate id have to upgrade to 7 ultimate its more efficient for me to just buy home professional full. I also see that OEM for system builders is alot cheaper, would it be better for me to purchase this? what are the cons to buying that version.

ah good to know, thanks, also, does anyone know about my windows 7 question? The computer i built before that has vista will not be used any longer, so would i be able to use that version of vista then upgrade to 7(to save money from buying W7 full)?

8800GTX fan?

Alright so i just got my 8800GTX, installed it and everything works fine, the only thing is the fan sounds realy loud, and it is making like a clicking sound, is this normal? its constant, making it almost seem like it is catching on something. My card is from BFG btw.

my card also broke today, i used watercooling, but what do you think the odds are they notice i used an aftermarket coolant? i reinstalled the fan and it looks just fromt he factory

hmm you dont think the fact that i had it watercooled would affect the warranty would it? the card wasnt OCd or anything, just removed the stock fan

yeah i believe your right, heat isnt the issue because im watercooling but i think the card is bad, got to the point my monitor wouldnt even recognize my comp, now i am using an old x1600 i had lay around and i am having no problems, no i gotta send that thing back in, wahoo lol

Are there any accurate programs for reading the temps on your video card? i have an 8800GTX i want to OC, and i see people always talking about there video card temps, just cant seem to find a post with an actual program to use

I have 2x2gig kingston hyperx ram, i decided to try to OC it today after overclocking my CPU(followed the guide posted on here) and i realized its a bit more troublesom then simply adjusting the speeds to 4-4-4-12, everytime i do that with having the voltage on AUTO all it does it fail to boot...

lol after reading around i found out about 1/3 of those wires dont ever need to be there, and most of the other ones can be ran behind the motherboard rack down to the powersupply, going out to get brackets to mount my radiator ontop of my case tommorow then ill rearrange the wires lol

To install my liquid cooling on my video card i have to remove the current fan and use a "liquid degreaser" to whipe it off, a friend said rubbing alchahol is a good choice? can anyone confirm this?

I was reading about something called killer, i believe it is a network card but i dont know much about anything in that area, it is designed to reduce latency in games such as WOW and BF2, has anyone tried this? is it worth it? also im going to be running 64bit vista(if that matters in any way)
