While I confess to being an Olympus nut, with five of them, I have recommended this camera for almost a year to a number of people. At the price, I'm not sure it can be beat.
August, 1999 on the one I bought earlier this year as a back-up. I've never used it so if anyone is looking for one in the Austin area I will let it go at a discount.
I got one Cendyne last week at OM and one Verbatim today. They are identical 48x16x48's, same manufactured dates, and almost the same serial number (starting with AGE 150). They must both be Optorites.
$ xx.77 items are specials for that store only. $xx.88 items are nationwide specials. An "*" on the price tag is a clearance item, or at least they won't be restocking.
Just got an email from package2you.com
Barbie PC's are $44 each plus shipping but must order 4. If anybody in Austin wants to split an order of four Barbie Pc's I'd be interested.

Here's a review of the ECS board for $49. They give it an Editor's Choice and it overclocks nicely.
What O/S and applications will benefit from the dual processors?
OM here in Austin substituted the HiVal 16x10x40 with BurnProof for the $39 (no rebate) 12x ones featured in their Friday sale. They have Nero 5.5 but I can't tell who manufactured them.
I've just networked our small community library with a Win2K server and several Win98 SE wired and wireless clients. They use an Apex 1100 router with an ISDN connection. Four of the clients are for use by the Library's patrons for Internet access.

I have one. It is worth the money to play around with. I also have a Fuji and a Kodak so I have a litle experience with digital cameras.
For simple web photos, email, maybe auction pictures, it does the job. Colors are not quite as intense as I would like but for $50 - $80, it does a good job...
It is a "last year's" model and is on the HP web site. I bought it because I needed one of the 51649A color cartridges and it is about $30 shipped for just the cartridge.
Staples has the HP 610CL (447338) for $49.98. I added a cheap rollerball to get free shipping then used a $10 of $50 coupon from d**lhunting.com.

I just installed a Linksys WAP and am using the D-link USB wireless card. They work fine together although I did have to download the latest Linksys shareware and firmware to get the Access Point working.
I just got one of the Zio's on Friday. Very nice and fast. Creates another drive on your computer. Comes with a 1M USB cable for machines with USB ports in back.

Anybody want to swap one of the floor lamps for one of the Canon CanoScan 620U Scanners from another thread? I ordered an extra scanner yesterday. Will have to wait and see if it arrives.
