Every 2-3 years. 4MB ??? --> 16MB Voodoo3 2000 --> 64MB Geforce 2 or 3 --> 256MB FX5500 --> 256MB X850XT --> 256MB HD3850 --> maybe HD 5k series but probably wait for next generation. Basically for this reason

What are you doing, leasing your video cards? Wait a generation or three if you want a 'worthwhile' upgrade, use what you already bought ffs. 3GB's of 4870 should tide you over until there's something worth playing that even uses dx11.

Idle temp for 3850 was 39-40, after half hour of crysis it got to 77, thats as hot as it got. Windows xp seems fine right now, its most likely the fact that I just cannot update my bios, and then disable pcie downstream pipeline, without my system becoming unbootable for some reason. Pavelz...

Well, I got myself an ati 3850. Installed it earlier today on the 1.30 bios that my 775dual came with, perfectly stable. Only thing is that there are a few texture corruptions. For example, in crysis, some distant textures are messed up, but when I change to iron sight view they go away...

Suggestions for quality small/medium cases?

Nvidia feels small compared to Intel/AMD

Having decent integrated graphics sounds ok to me in a perfect world, and given the low lifespan and high cost of video cards why not? But it just seems so console-like to me, sure you are somewhat limited with what you can do with motherboards as they are currently, but at that point, why...
