Games that support gamepads?

The ones I have been playing that support gamepads are any of the Valve games (for the most part), Shift 2, and Metro 2033. They all are fully supported with the 360 controller.

Why did my font get so blurry after installing a new video card?

Control Panel > Display > Adjust Clear Type Text Those are the only settings I know of in Windows 7.

I recall playing the demo and it ran like crap on my computer at the time, did look way ahead of its time though.

4.4ghz with i7 2600k overclock questions

The ram I have is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...x8gx3m2a1600c9 Which I dislike and would rather have something that is rated higher speed at 1.5v like the gskill stuff or Corsair Vengence.

Yeah it is set at 4400mhz 1.2v vcore and the ram was jacked up and ram voltage but I put it back down to 1.5 and 1333mhz since I know anything other than that seems unstable on this system. Other than that I really didn't see too much improvement in games... 3dmark11 went up a measily couple...

What's the first thing you do with a new gaming rig?

Normally if I don't run into issues I load up the latest game I've been playing to see how much better it runs on the new machine. This time around it was Crysis 2 and Rift.

Under the advanced options, when you boot into the bios it first is in EZ Mode, you have to go to exit and go to advanced bios options. Once in there I think it's on the 2nd tab near the bottom.

I had quite a few issues with mine and ram. What kind of settings for the ram do you have set? Is it on auto voltage, mem speed and the rest or did you manually hard set it?

Rift - your setup and average FPS

I'm using the system posted below running at 1920x1200, settings I run everything at max except for the anti aliasing I select the one in the middle can't go super sample or else the FPS drops to mid 20's. Playable sure, but not ideal. With my settings I generally get in the 30FPS range on...

GTX570 overheating, freezing games

So... Systems been playing great for the last few days until today. I tried playing around getting my ram up to the proper 1600mhz speed which didn't require an uppage in voltage from the tests I tried. Today though something weird happens. I normally am running EVGA Precision to autoset...

Probably not, I've never went sli, always end up buying a new card instead. Infact my current board doesn't support sli only crossfire. And actually I spent $199 for this PS (retail from BB) I think just recently it's dropped to 99

Games you wanted to like & why

Homefront, wanted to like it, trailers looked like it was going to be comparable to other top selling FPS games. After I got it I feel as though I was completely ripped off, shortest single player ever and didn't make me want to even try multiplayer.

Yep, been playing on it since yesterday many games for many hours and not one freeze yet. Only 2 things I changed was that ram setting (1.5v at 1333mhz, well in reality I just set the motherboard to AUTO and it did that by itself) and I got a new case that provided better airflow. And yes gpu...

Disappointed with Homefront

Yea I feel the same way, I got preordered it for console and feel like I got completely ripped off as soon as I started playing it. Oh well, I've played worse games.

What's weird is with those ram settings it was working perfectly fine with the 460gtx. I don't get it, but then again I've seen weirder things over the years.

In case anyone is still reading this thread, I fixed the issue, was not the card. Memory was set incorrectly and causing it to crash. Guess I should pay attention to the 1.5v sandy bridge requirements.

Agreed, I did pay for superclocked I want that. Running at stock config might as well have just bought a stock card. I think I'm gonna RMA just to be safe, I don't mind waiting I can run most of my games with the 460 just not as smoothly.

Works with everything I throw at it with stock speeds, ran crysis 2 for a while, crysis 1 benchmark, unigine heaven and tropical benchmarks. Yep sounds like bad overclocking card to me too.

So here's what I did... as a test I put the clock, mem and shader clocks at the nvidia stock 570gtx speeds (732 core, 1464 shader and 2800 mem) put fan speed at 75% and set unigine on, went and washed the car, came back and it was still running, looks like it did 4-5 complete playthroughs...

Hmm. Well I did another test and tried a different way I had the PSU setup, still froze but got almost done with 2 Heaven tests and got to a max of 70C temp.

Ok, did one suggestion they had in the other forum, put fan speeds up to 75% all the time. The Unigine completed a pass like this, got about 5% through the 2nd one and locked up. This is definitely a heat issue somewhere.

new i7 2600k install gets warm

Just wanted to add I got my Cooler Master Hyper 212+ in today, installed it and temps get a max of 60C on Prime95 and idle at high 30's. Quite a bit of a difference and well worth it.

Installed EVGA precision, set fan speed to auto and I heard it adjusting while running Unigine Heaven again, got farther in the benchmark but still froze later on. I think this card is just RMA worthy. Question is, do I return it to EVGA or to the place I bought it from?
