pressing touchpad while typing

i never had this problem. but now i am. when i type, i press the the touchpad with my hand and start tparyping in the middle of my .... <---see i did it again. Any apps out there that will automatically disable the touchpad while characters are being typed?

yep, their as blocked as a pet crow. unfortunately because you are not able to change the ports that exchange works on. it wont work for less than 15 a month(commercial isp account). i got other protocols to work, imap and pop3. once it was configured correctly they worked seamlessly. my...

Ill read it over just to know everything exactly. but changing the smtp port doesent change the port that exchange works on. i believe its 443 and 80. exchange uses the http protocol to transfer data. not like pop3, imap at all. they could have made it so the same data can go across...

Cable modem goes out when I'm on my cell phone

get an anti static bag and wrap it around the cable modem. could fix it. See if you can get more highly braid insulated coax. how far away does it effect. get a cat5 wire and put the modem in a closet somewhere where you dont talk on the phone.

Connecting to drives, before connecting to network

I have mapped network drives. I am connecting to a wifi linksys router. windows starts connecting to the 2 network drives after windows loads. at the same time it begins the connection to the wifi network. the network takes longer, so the maped drives dont connect FIX?

I figured part of it out. the pop service cannot be on the same port as the smtp service. when i change the port I am able to download email via pop3. this fixed the "rejecting username" problem Gettin closer Still cannot send email. Still cannot connect to exchange outside the network...

This mobo is screwy

The motherboard im using will not boot unless everything is perfet. I have it running, though iv spent countless hours screwing with it. it simply will not boot with certain configurations. though this is the one that i do not understand weather i even put any hard drive on it at all...

Recommend a good wireless router, My netgear WGT624V3 has issues

iv used both linksys and dlink. also used a linksys with 3rd party firmware. i prefer linksys, though for no real factual reason, they work well and only cost 45 bucks.

Why the difference?

it also may be effected buy the read and write speeds of the hard drives. if the read speed of ur backup pc is slower than the read speed of ur main pc, or the write speeds visa virsa, then that can create the difference.

exchange rejecting username

I am trying to run exchange. at one point i was able to connect via pop3. after that the server started rejecting the username. i know the username is correct as well as the password. this is almost a compleetly default installation. all i did is start nntp, smtp and imap services...

you can always put another nic in one of the computers and bridget the connection between the two adapters!

nearly every isp blocks incomming requests on port 25. my isp will not open the port unless i change my account into a comerical account for 15 bucks a month more. so i have no choice but to change the port (the mail will come into the server on port 25 always, this is just how it works. no way...
