Sandy Bridge Gaming PC. Need Advice please.

It is an excellent mobo. I'm using the same mATX mobo version (GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3) on my rig (see my signature) and it performs flawlessly. I can enter and resume from S3 sleep mode without any problems and audio output is excellent.

Help me choose motherboard for i5 2500k cpu

You will not be able to overclock (OC) with those H67 chipset motherboards that you listed. The new Z68 chipset motherboard would allow you OC both the CPU and IGP. I'd recommend either of these 2 motherboards since it works for me (see my signature)...

how important is it that a case have front USB 3.0 ports?

6GB install only 4GB usable

If your OS is 32Bit then your computer can only use ~4GB of memory. Upgrade to 64Bit OS then it can access all 6GB.

Micro ATX Z68 motherboard help

I went with the Gigabyte mATX board myself because of the build quality. I have been using Gigabyte MB for the last 4 or 5 builds with the oldest one about 10 years old and still running. They gave me no problems. In addition, Gigabyte is pretty good with updating their BIOS.

Logitech mouse issue.

The loudest fan in my system is my PSU fan...what can I do? UPDATE: Getting a TX650V2

Try to position the PSU such that the fan is facing up instead of down like you have now. I'm thinking the air flow may be restricted and caused excessive noise the way you have the PSU positioned now.

The IDE controller probably cost as much or more than a new SATA DVD drive itself. I have 2 IDE DVD drives that lay around the house and I can't make use of it once I build a new SD or IB system.
