I just bought 2 used Segate 2.0 GB SCSI 7200 RPM drives. They sound like a jet engine taking off. Is this just a characteristic of segate drives? What SCSI drives are recomened for lower volume? I am going to be forced to sell these because you can hear them from any place in my house...
I have the 9100i. You cannot mulitask while buring at 8x. Maybe a little at 4x. It is a decent drive. Be aware though that HP will try to charge you like 20 bucks for the win 2k software. So if you want cheap + win98, go 9100i. If you got the cash and run win2k, go 9200i. I wish i would...
