No strong opinions either way, but you don't see the cycle this creates? You get a few core raiders who are constantly getting upgrades that keep them at the top of the charts, while people who are gearing up a bit slower begin to fall more steadily behind and get frustrated. It really does...

You can make a pretty good case for either, I think. It definitely looks like it could rhyme with "harrow," "barrow," (as in wheel) or "Farrow" (as in Mia), but I can just as easily see how it would be pronounced "dar-oh". No good indicators either way, honestly.

Armor penetration as a stat is getting a nice buff in 3.1 (+25% to the effect per point of ArPen rating), so the value is going up a good bit for many classes. From a quick check at the EJ forums, it looks like ArPen is going to be one of the top three stats for feral dps druids after the patch.

BG NWN2 mod to hit this summer?

Absolutely. I'd buy NWN2 in a heartbeat if I could replay the BG Series and Planescape: Torment with the engine. Also dying for a mod for Fallout 3 that redoes the first two Fallouts.

I'd say the MMO most likely to gain any market share would probably be Bioware's upcoming KOTOR MMO. Bioware's one of the few companies with a track record of good games that can compare to Blizzard's and the Star Wars franchise is, well, the Star Wars franchise. It's also a sci-fi MMO instead...

I think there's actually plenty of skill involved in those, not the least of which is aiming some of those freaking cone AE knockbacks. The knockbacks in particular I like quite a lot as they give squishies the breathing room they need in terms of CC to get some survivability without completely...
