I haven't tried it out yet but here is a screenshot of USB from my firmware: USB support in DD-WRT 9693
EDIT: Well, I've had no luck with the USB an my Samsung ML-1450 laser printer. No data is making it to the printer. Hopefully work will continue to get the USB working correctly. EKO has...
ASUS WL-520GU
240 MHz Broadcom 5354 processor
16 MB ram
4 MB flash (will handle full builds)
This is the equivalent of the now extinct Buffalo WHR-G125 plus it has a USB port which is supported in the newer RC7 builds of DD-WRT.
I flashed the EKO RC7 9396 Nokaid_USB.bin file (7th from...
And how will you know if your protest will make any difference? Short answer is you won't. Creative is not going anywhere, and love or hate em, they still put some great hardware out for the money, period.
I dislike the driver situation as much as anyone else, but I can easily overlook that...

There are probably other places out there. I have a few TFT's and Mitsubishi 2070 SB 22" CRT and without a question, the CRT destroys the LCD's when it comes to gaming for me. Motion blur is imperceptible on the CRT. However, TFT for...
it is a mystery to me why Crucial advertises the Ballistix DDR2 to run 2.2v especially with all the failures. Or, are the failures really as bad as it appears? Would like to see the real failure rate percentage of these.
Well, that's special, but no one cares. Honestly, do the people around you really care if you are protesting Creative. Plus, your $80 is not going to break Creative.
You advocate hacking proprietary software, and protest because of that. Seems screwed up to me.
That's mighty noble of you, but......
...nobody cares about your nobility. Humane things? sure. Computer parts? no. If you want killer sound at a cheap price, this is it, no matter how bad Creative screws the pooch.....
how much voltage killed you 8500 Bryan?
Good deal here too: http://clubit.com/product_detail.cfm?itemno=A4330522
Should be good to 1000 MHz at 5-5-5
C4 here too: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/...sp?ProductCode=85025-6
I paid $270 AR for my 8800 GTS G92 a few months back. If you are buying an 8800 GTS G92 today and plan to step-up later, the following scenario will even be worse for you.
I can step-up to a 9800 GTX for $80 more = $350 card + shipping. (practically no gain)
9800 GTX can be had for $290 at...
Lower binned but still excellent Powerchip IC: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820231122
A-Data at $49 AR is probably the best buy on a Powerchip IC right now.....
Gotta love the low voltage of these 1.8V @ stock and <2.1 for serious overclocking.
Utter and total BS. A little of you can go a long ways sometimes Lou......
I have 8 sticks of Baliistix @ 2.1v @ 900 MHz @ 4-4-4 for nearly a year now, not a single error....
As for the OP, take a look at the SuperTalents for $29 AR Timings are 4-4-3-8, most likely D9 but the voltage is...
Voltage is pretty high for those timimgs and DDR2-800, not much headroom unless loosening up. Indicates typical D9?
2.1v 5-5-5 PC28000 <----typical D9
2.1v 4-4-4 PC26400
2.2v 4-4-3 <--- SuperTalent
IMO, timings do not mean much on an Intel platform. Although this is probably the last...
No it isn't. CPU's have been in existence for only tens of years....barely off the gorund and most certainly in its infancy. Read your quote about ten years from now, I am sure you'll have a great chuckle....
The PowerChip IC on the 2x2 8000's is good to 1066 @ <2.0 volts. Way better than 2.3 or 2.4 IMO. Again, there is no perceptible difference between 4-4-4 and 5-5-5. My overclocked Ballistix show absolutely no performance gain by using 4-4-4 over 5-5-5. Maybe on an AMD system, but Intel doesn't...
In a benchmark, maybe. In real world use there is no perceptible difference between 4-4-4 and 5-5-5.
Besides, would you really run THAT much voltage through them on a 24/7 basis to achieve 4-4-4? Not worth it at all.
2 x 2 FTW
IMO, people screw themselves out of rebates far more than the rebate houses do. You never seem to hear anyone fessing up about forgetting something that was required
I have noticed MUCH bias in HardOCP reviews. They'll get all PO'd and cry foul if you mention it too, but hey, truth always hurts doesn't it.....
Oh yeah, just my $0.02 as always ;)
Hard as it is to believe, HardOCP is not the supreme entity they seem to self-project. At times, reading their reviews give me the same bad taste in my mouth as reading Tom's Hardware reviews.......
*yawn* damn, I almost fell asleep reading all that sap. This thread isn't about having a soft heart for the Pats. Quite contrary.
IT IS all about remembering that the Pats are a very close second to Linda Lovelace in the choking dept.
cough, cough....
fluke?
The Pats had their ass handed to them on a platter.
:music: Here's a story.....of a man named Brady...who was missing a few teeth of his own....:music:
