First off, thanks 'imagoon' for the quick responses, I really apreciate it!!! : )
Ok, figured out the issue. It was 'Compatibilty Mode'. The documents were Word 2007 being opened in Word 2010. I noticed the compatibility mode up top and thought what the hell, I'll convert it. Sure...
Ok, I checked the margins on the desktop version and virtual desktop version and they matched. So it wasn't that. Another thing of note that was weird. It would actually add tab spaces in between words randomly. Weird.
Some of the formatting gets moved over as if the margins on the right side have been increased. But the weird thing is that it only happens to a couple of the lines and not all.
There is a list on one of the documents for example:
If opened from the Word progam on the computer, it will open...
I have a user that has an issue where when she opens Microsoft Word 2010 while logged into a Citrix Virtual Desktop, the format for the Word documents changes from what it is supposed to be. If that same document is opened with the Word program on her machine, it opens correctly. The file in...
A user is saying she can't send emails through OWA anymore. We use Exchange Server 2003 and roaming profiles. She brakes the receptionist but doesnt log out of the receptionists profile. She accesses her own OWA through the receptionists roaming profile. She tells me she has done this many...
I reformatted the whole drive, then reinstalled windows. I'm assuming all four cores are enabled in the bios, I am not at my comp right now to check, but i'll definately check once i get home.
Was hoping someone could help me with this. My computer randomly and frequently gets lag/usage spikes which will slow down anything on the computer for a couple seconds. This happens even when not running any programs at all. I've opened up the task manager and watched the performance of my...
Our company is running Windows server 2003 Standard, Exchange 2003 SP2 and the clients are running Windows xp sp3. Our exchange server is in California. We have a branch over in Arizona.
The calendars in outlook over in the AZ office are showing incorrect information. For instance, our...
I can honestly say as a white straight man, I am ashamed to live in CA right now. The fact this country can elect a black president yet still pass a bill to discriminate is just embarrassing. And that people are persuaded by outdated, illogical morons like in this video is amazing. I was so...
Was hoping someone out there has used Backtrack3 and knows how to change the IP address for the virtual machine. I just recently upgraded from BT2 where changing the IP address was very simple. Anyone out there know how to do this in BT3?
I'm having trouble displaying the contents of a couple attachments. They are .msg files. When i click on them to open, the page opens but the document is blank, however there is almost a mb of data. Can someone help with this. Thanks!
edit - got it!
I have this roommate that bugs the hell out of me and want to mess with him a bit. Were there any previous threads anyone can link me so i can find some good pranks or tell me some I can try. Neither of us own the condo we rent so I cant do anything that will leave stains or ruin paint etc...
It was like for me everyday in college. Except instead of just one car parked in the row waiting for someone to leave, there would be several, all spaced out so that each car would "claim" about 15 -20 parking spots in front of them. If a spot opened up in front of them they would take it, as...
I dont have any but I think that is because of growing up in my parents home. The woman is a cat pimp. She breeds the really hairy ones and the bald ones. Last time i went over there there was literally over 20 cats. Isn't there a law on having that many animals in one house?
No, I'm out in L.A. Must be a bad collection of drivers in my surrounding area. There was a mercedes suv parked about 20 yards away from where my car was hit that got hit as well, albeit alot worse than mine. I came out one morning to find that suv with the front bumper hanging down, the rear...
Get ready for work, head out to my car parked on the street, and my driver side mirror is dangling from the wires. Some a-hole in an obvously red car judging from the paint left hit my car and broke my mirror. I'm happy they didnt hit any other part of my car, but damn!
damn, that sucks ass! :(
if he was never locked up, would he/she (like most birds) just go to the bathroom where ever he was at the time? Iv'e been thinking of getting one and would rather not lock him up.
OP... just because you cant comprehend the enormous amount of time it took to get to where we are today, doesn't mean it didnt happen. I cant comprehend how Bush got elected...TWICE, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.
haha... thats actually funny. But seriously, don't be a douche and kill an animal for surviving. It's not slamming little kids into the wall (although that would be funny too), just common birds that you see everyday.
jesus tapdancing christ. How can anyone be alive with that much brain missing? People shot in the head have lost way less brain and died... thats just insane!
Really.... the freeways i take to and from work are always open to where i can drive as fast as i want. I always drive with the cruise control because of it... its really that big of a difference on gas if i lower the cruise control?
A coworker made a comment saying she doesnt drive past 70 anymore to save gas. Does driving slower really use less gas even if the you're on the freeway and speed is generally constant?
As long as people dont "make out" in front of me, I dont care what they do, regardless of their sexual orientation. Although if I were at a baseball game and two hot chicks started making out infront of me... I'd find the popcorn guy real quick and get comfortable for the show!
