I am using E5200@fsb290@1.5V
Overclocking capacity is excellent using this mobo(4core dual sata2 rev1) and volt mod for FSB 800 CPUes.
what you think about Q7600 overclocking on this mobo?
what is yor idea about overclocking Q7600 to 3915Mhz (290*13.5) using 1.5V?
Now I decreas Vcore to Max 1.456 and frequence to 3540 (Multy=12)
before Vcore was Max 1.536 and feequency 3675. (Multy=12.5)
my system is complately Stable in that tow cases.
I am Using E5200 with V1
E5200@3670Mhz@1.5V
Also I am using connect3d hd 4670
Great mobo with connect3d hd 4670
It work fine (with bios 2.11a)
And no change in 3dmark05 results between it and ECS P43TA2 with PCI-express 2.0
What is the max core temperature in this case in full load?
Don?t worry about temperature below 74.1C (fore core) according to Intel and Toms hardware documentations.
Maximum stable overclock capacity is that walled by motherboard FSB=295 that means: 295*12.5=3688 (need Vcore increase to...
I am using Stock Fan (of E4500) and mode vcore to 1.424V Max.
bios shows the correct temp of cpu( the same that fan speed shows)
In my old cpu E4500, cpu temp was 55C and core temp was 68C at full load and 1.55V the difference was about 13C but here the difference is more than 20C. I think...
Could it be true?
Cpu Temp is below 50C but one of core temp is about 73 (some old software shows more than 78C)and the other is about 66.
Why core temps are 20C more than cpu temp?
Why one of core is always warmer than the other? ( cpu usage is 100%)
My cpu heat sink is very clod even...
BSEL mode is not useful for me and I found no advantage between BSLE mode and manually setting FSB to 266.
I am using volt mode only.
No I don't have any similar issues. I am using 2.1a
You should use the latest version of software for accurate core temp
E.g. coretemp 9.1 shows 6-7 degree...
The Best choose for this mobo is E5200:
System is completely stable.

Also I can overclock my E5200 To 3700Mhz wit 1.488 (Max) Volts
I tried to use a Gigabyte HD 3450 on Pci-express Slot but system could not boot with it. No Screen, No thing, No Sound.
I am using latest bios 2.1a and clear CMOS
that Gigabyte HD 3450 work fine on another asus P5Q motherboard.
What you think about it?
thanks for you answer
this means system work in Dos (and not in windows) with E7200 and standard bios then I can update bios to 2.0a
that was your method to update bios to 2.0a or you use another CPU
Official asrock bios dose not support E7200. Only moded bios 1.93a and 2.0a support E7200 you can download here:
http://www.pctreiber.net/filebase.php?cat=143
It is better to use Dos for updating moded bios because windows software provided by www.pctreiber.net may lose your MAC address...
My cpu is E4500 and my mobo is rev1.0
Now I am using 2.0a and have no problem
Is your mobo rev 1.0?
The only problem is that multiplayer change locked in 2.0a while it unlocked in 2.0
What is the cause of Vdrop?
I Solder a 100k VR and increase Vcore to 1.584 but on full ORTHOS load it drop to 1.488
May this due to Power supply?
Not that soldering is very dangerous. it destroy the 860 pf capacitor and I change it whit a 1.0 nf capacitor.
But as shown here
http://www.xtremesystems.org/f...d.php?t=117017&page=11
Lower resistant=higher voltage
This mean setting potentiometer to zero cause more voltage!
I connect 3 pin of my cpu to increase voltage to 1.55 but my cpu volt change between 1.532 and 1.456 (E4500@FBS267)
Why drop voltage is too high?
May this problem solved if I solder a 100kohm VR ?
What is the maximum voltage if I use a100kOhm VR?
Can it damage my system if I turn it to zero?
fan speed setting avialable in all moded bios 1.5a-1.9a
i think yoru problem is due to fan and heatsink
system shutdown when cpu temp is 85C or when any core temp is 85 C ?
Measure max temp using Everest while ORTHOS running
In moded bios set fan speed step at 50C
See fan speed in ORTHOS that should be 1900-3200 RPM(depend on ambient temp) in full load.
My temps are not the function of ambient temp because max fan speed change on ambient temp (even 1900RPM in...
