    I don't really want to buy used, especially something from 4+ years ago that could be near the end of it's useful life. Plus being in Canada there aren't really any available on eBay aside from the US, so I have to shipping + duties and taxes on top of the price.

    Thanks guys. I took a second look and it turns out that the driver I got from the Mobo manufacturer, was actually from 2006. I only went through there because I didn't know what the card exactly was at the time. I got the latest driver directly from Realtek and it's working like it should.
