Question lg oled 48" powers off during sleep.

Question Anyone have experience with Ergotron wall mount monitor arm or similar? Uncomfortable with it being on one stud.

Most coolers have fans that can be easily changed out. Some like zalman may have proprietary coolers that would be hard to replace.

A decent cooler will let you idle at 10-15c. over ambient. I think your temps are fine and will not change if you replace the thermal compound. A cpu will slow down or shut down to prevent damage if it gets too hot. You are nowhere near those limits. Also, your cpu is a bit old, the newer...

Where to buy replacement fans for Antec 1200.

Open a support incident with Antec. They are very good about replacing parts, often for free. You will need the manufacturing date which is stamped inside on the bottom of the case.

Better cpu cooler vs. better case

Take the case side panel off and direct a house fan at the innards. If you get much better results, then improving case cooling would be in order. What type of graphics card cooler do you have? If it is not a direct exhaust type, the hot vga air is compounding your problem.

The 8800GTS/GTX are great cards, but they will be the biggest heat generators in your computer. It is good that the stock cooler expels most of the heat out back through the extra slot. The stock coolers are quiet too. OEM replacement coolers are good at extracting heat from the GPU chips...
