Will Apple launch iPhone 5s in this year?

I think the main "real" use for NFC is as a means for payment, which is how it's commonly used in S Korea and Japan. Integrating this with Passbook would make sense, but the infrastructure needs to be there in order for it to be useful.

Best and worst CPUs since 1998

I gotta give a +1 to the 533A. Weren't all that popular but a really good overclocker for the money. I had one @ 824MHz on an Abit VH6 with a Golden Orb. That combo was what replaced my 300A @464 on Abit BH6.

Most Frustrating games ever

I'd go with most of the old Sierra Adventure Games with the parser, when you got stuck where had no freaking clue what to type. But at least there were countless creative ways you could die in those games.

Ever wonder what car sells fast? really fast?

Might also be because it's the last model year before a refresh. The incoming model is supposed to get better mileage than the current model and shouldn't cost much more so people might be waiting on the new one.

G620 CPU, Radeon HD 6670 GPU + Antec Earthwatts 380 PSU

When AT tested the Radeon 6670, even with an i7 920, it drew less than 200W (can it play Crysis? kindasortamaybe yeah but that was the full load test), so with the G620, assuming you want to reuse your old PSU should be fine.

Why would I want to use OSX over Win7 or *nix?

If you're into software development, and want to write apps for iOS (for iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad) then OSX is pretty much the only game in town there. Other than that, for just about everything else, it is still almost entirely personal preference.

But how do you set up Time Capsule as a NAS?

Isn't it supposed to automatically show up as an AirPort Disk under your Shared drives? And no, Time Machine will not run if you are not connected to your Time Capsule using either wired or wireless, in other words you have to be on your own network for it to work.

The higher resolution on the iPhone 4 taxes the GPU a bit more than on the 3GS, but it's still smooth and playable (to me at least). Should run really well on a 4S or iPad 2.

iOS + Android > PSP + DS

I think Infinity Blade has replaced Angry Birds as my favorite quick play for five minutes game on my phone. Graphics look pretty good to me, but the gameplay is what makes it fun, because you actually use the touchscreen to slice 'n dice and kick the living shit out of the enemies.

What are tower defense games?

+1 for Defense Grid. I got last year on Steam for $5. There's actually a version on XBox Live for the 360. I'm thinking the controls might be a bit more difficult there without a mouse though.

The USA will probably never get it because Honda thinks there is no market for standards, or throwback UJMs. And they're probably right. Same goes for the Kawasaki W800, but that might be because it would be a tough sell against the newer Thai-built Triumph Bonneville.

Any guilty feelings on liking an unpopular car?

I love my car even though according to Nissan only 2% of Altimas are for the V6. But I thought it was totally worth it (supposedly the Altima is the cheapest family sedan to go from the 4-banger to the V6). 7 years and 130,000+ miles and no problems, so I can't complain.

What's your windows experience index?

At 1440x900 it should be able to handle High graphics with a fast enough processor and 4GB RAM. I'm able to with an old Geforce 9800GT with a C2D E7400 running completely stock, no OC. And for the OP, I get 5.9 on all my boxes that use regular ol' hard drive. Interestingly the one machine...

Is it bad to not turn off or reboot your laptop?

I usually close the lids on my notebooks, and it goes into standby. I only reboot when I have to, but with updates being pushed as it is, that's usually at least one a week.

If you're using HDMI and your TV and Blu-Ray player both support HDMI 1.3 with HDMI-CEC, (called all sorts of things like BraviaLink, AnyNet+, etc) you can use your TV's remote to control both without having to punch in remote codes.
