Three points.
1) He didn't say he wanted $100, $200, or $300 speakers - he said he wanted $15 speakers.
2) Do you know what would happen if you were to sit a mere 24 inches from some of these speakers? PERMANENT. HEARING. LOSS.
3) Passive speakers need this thing called AN AMPLIFIER, so...
Okay, here's my dilemma - we're running Windows 2000, and Windows Media Player [WMPLAYER.EXE] maxes out at version 9 for Windows 2000.
Version 10 and above require at least XP, and we aren't going to upgrade any time soon.
But version 9 can't read music digitally off of a SATA CD-ROM...
Friday morning, November 23rd, 7:00AM - not being honored locally, where I live.
They had one open box, for like $549.99.
Of course, the Office Max next door wasn't honoring the SOYO deal, either.
Screw these box stores.
This was a complete waste of time.

If I could snag some of the $249.99 SOYO's at Office Max tomorrow, then I'd be looking at only $300 for fullly rotating *VA 24".

I really want a 24" *VA [not TN] monitor with the ability to pivot from landscape view to profile view.
I'd be happy to get the Office Max Soyo's, and then put them on VESA-compliant pivot bases, but I can't seem to find any bases which don't cost hundreds of dollars...
