weird color symptom

Hey all, im having problem with the default photo viewer in windows 7 not displaying the correct color of the image, heres a screen shot of it: http://oi54.tinypic.com/r6xr0i.jpg as u can see, the image looks fine on my wallpaper, yet completely off under photo viewer. what can i do to...

BFG 8800GT died, or is it?

I tried it on an old dell box using the pci-x adapter, same problem. ill try it on my brother's rig later when i can, but as of now im pretty sure the card is dead meat. Also, im running an Accelero cooler on it so BFG's lifetime warranty is history. The power connector is running directly...

BFG 8800GT died, or is it?

So i was playing FarCry2 and all of a sudden there was no video output. I removed the card, reseatted it and got video back for about 15 mins, then lost video signal again. I repalced it with an old 7300GT, and got the rig temporary running for now. Is this a common problem for a dead...

CrossFire 1GB + 512mb HD3850

thanks for the replies. It's actually for a friend of mine, and I initially thought he would be better off with a 1GB in addition to the current 512mb. Well, no more 1GB then. :)

CPU power cable extension???

does such thing exists in this modern world? I tried searching online but nothing came up. basically i want to extend the cable on this crappy CM PSU that i have for a few more inches so it will reach the CPU plug. any help is appreiciated!!

we ended up using the splitter on a laptop. however, im trying that duplicating method at work, and so far it's not working for me. If i set one LCD to 1, the other one will automatically set to 2, and vice versa. I have a ATI FireGL V3300 card, running XP. Would you please shed some...

is it possible? i need to run 1 PP presentation file on two TVs hooked up to a 8800GT DVI ports, and I must have them both display the Power Point presentation at the same time for a charity event tomorrow. please advise!! if no possible, what are some other ways that I could get this...

LOL here's the latest screen shots i just took, the top shows the temperature of the cpu being stressed under OTHOS, and the bottom shows the idle temp after OTHOS has been stopped. as you can see, full load is 57C, and idle is 27C.

that's the most horrifying purchase i have ever heard of in a while. so the box was the original 6600gts'? couldnt u tell that something wasnt right by the purchase price? (assumed the 6600gts should be dirt cheap)

Best case?

i just recently switched from a CM690 to Antec 900, and to my surprise, the CPU seems to idle 1-2C cooler due to the great air flow created by the front intake fans. The intake fans also help to exhaust the massive heat created by the 8800GT OC as well. The HDDs are now cold as ice. This...

Artic Cooling MX-2?

just replaced the AS5 with MX-2 in the rig, and so far i have not notice any significant changes. The temperature at idle is now 32/30 vs 34/32 before, and full load is 1C cooler (57/57 under OTHOS vs. 58/58 before). the system is a 3.6ghz E6750 with a CNPS9700.

Silent yet good cooling case?

C2D E6750 - Is 58c too hot?

i assumed 58C is full load? if yes then it's borderline between acceptable and bad, especially at 3.2ghz. i'd get a new cooler asap.

E21xx M0?

im running a M0 E2140 @ 3.2ghz on air, stock HSF, idles at 30/30 flat. 3.2 seems to be the ideal speed right now, everytime i try to go higher the system just crash.
