Well it's blood. We are familiar with it in steak when cooked rare. When it comes to another culture and we're not familiar with it, we automatically call them weird.

that's pretty messed up. I think you should keep on calling... telling them how irresponsible they are by asking you to do so much..faxing, calling ect...and deny you at the last step.
I dont' think it'd work since coaxial is digital while the regular red/white is analog. You'd need to buy a receiver that receives coaxial...all receivers now a day do.
the battery on my mbp 15" only last for 1 hr in leopard compared to 2:30 hrs in tiger. I downgraded it to tiger and it lasted 2:30 hrs... erased and installed...1 hr again! apple needs to fix this!
