There seems to be generally positive feedback at HardForum and the information at Prad and DigitalVersus shows it in a good light. Have recently ordered one myself.
Thanks guys for the helpful advice. Will probably do a little photoshop or GIMP with the monitor so I guess I should pay attention to colour accuracy.

Have been looking at replacing my overly dark 17 inch CRT monitor and have been reading this great thread and the linked information but only achieved brain overload!
The monitor would be used for the following;
Mostly text and browsing.
Secondly multimedia including some HD...
The tears and frustration continue...
Swapped the memory sticks out 1 at a time....still fails
Tried a third memory stick DDR333 vs. DDR 400...refused to boot
Replaced the IDE cable for the DVD drive...still fails
Guess I am left with, Motherboard, CPU, PSU, 1 of 4 drives, 1 of 2...
Last night I pulled together a frankenbox from parts lying around and tested it on that. There was no problem with the disk so I will have to start a process of elimination with my main PC. Will probably start with the IDE cable for the DVD Drive.
Tried a different CD drive and got the same result. My power supply is a relatively new (within 6 months) Corsair HX520 and there are no other symptoms like BSOD and spontaneous reboots etc. so I doubt it is that.
Any other ideas?
Have been having problems with trying to upgrade from Win 2000 to XP Pro. During the copying installation files step I get a message that the xyx.sys file can't be copied. Multiple attempts always fail. This leads to the installation failing after reboot and the RAID drivers have been installed...
Still using it at home, the price of an upgrade never seemed worth it until recently. Trying to move to XP so I can use the Folding at Home GPU client.
I also work for a company that employs around 5,000+ in Canada and still uses 2000 exclusively for workstations.
