So besides the latest and greatest - What higgnen gem games are out there?

DiRT is quite a fun racing game. Actually I would say it is more like a blend of racing game + simulation, considering its realistic handling and physics. It ran smoothly at 1280 x 1024 on my 8800gts 320 mb, c2d e6600 and 2gb ram.

Why do car insurance companies advertise so much?

Insurance companies need to attract more business as part of risk diversification i.e. "the law of large number". Some companies may even depend on 'cash flow underwriting' to survive.

Just bought and installed this game. Played through the 1st chapter. Good ambience sounds and atmosphere....pretty scary...and engrossing as well... Thanks for the recommendation and reminder about the taser gun! Going to play with lights off later!
