Antec Led Tricool Fan Mod help

I have 3 antec LED tricool fan at home, i would like to add them in my cooler master Storm Sniper case... (one in bottom and 2 on the side window) but i would like to have the ability to turn On / Off the led on the fan while keeping fan running. So is there any way to mod those fan to be...

Xigmatek Crossbow ACK-i7361

Well i haven't checked how to install this bracket before asking... Now i see that you have at least to stick the double face sticker on the bracket. I think this is what will protech the MB to being shocked by the metal bracket. But the double faced sticker i think is not very tick... is...

Xigmatek Crossbow ACK-i7361

You just stiked one face to the bracket et leaved the paper on the second face (face that stick to the mb) ?... im this case why just not put the double sided adhesive... install the bracket without any adhesive at all.

Hi, I have bought a Ocz Vendetta 2 cooler for my Q9650 with the Xigmatek Crossbow ACK-i7361 Bracket. Should i install the 3M Mylar double sided Sticker that come with the bracket ? it is really requied ? I heard once it's sticked it's almost impossible to remove... Thanks and sorry...

Best way to setup 2x WD 640GB

Installing Vendetta 2 on Q9650

So the trick is to fill the groove with thelmal paste (Ocz freeze in my case) but i tought it's better to put the paste directly on the processor and not on the cooler itself.

Installing Vendetta 2 on Q9650

Hi, I have never installing a Cpu cooler or putting Thermal paste. Now i just got my new Q9650 with Ocz Vendetta 2 cooler with OCZ Freeze with Retention Bracket. Where i'm wondering is the vendetta 2 is a direct heatpipe contact but there is groove between them. What is the best way...

8GB Ram : XP64 or VISTA64?

I think most of the vote goes for Vista64. But i have a question, 2 years ago we bought a laptop who come with XP also come with a upgrade cd to VISTA... Here i have a cd who is Express "Upgrade for Windows Vista Home prenium" 32Bit vista.... Can i use this cd key to install Vista 64 Home...

Cooler Master Storm Sniper

Hello, I would like some opinion on this case because i'm seriously considering it! it look very nice (features), i do not hate the look but i think there is better looking case! In Canada this case can be found for around 200$ is there others case that is better for the same price or less?

i will order the xigmatek model compatible with 775 and 1366. (didn't know it was also compatible 775) i still prefer ordering from canada, but thanks anyway yh125d.

Spicedaddy it's not the same model... i forget to say i need it for a Q9650 so Lga 775. yh125d, is this model fit perfectly with the Vendetta 2 without any modification to the bracket ?

I'm seriously considering that case... and yes it's out (at least it's available in canada) for around 200$ can... i think it's a bit pricy but it look nice! Edit : The retail version of the sniper, unfortunatly the interior is not painted black like the prototype version.

if Elusiv1 got a bug with his motherboard, normally i should leave it auto and it should be fine? I have never overclocked and i never played with hardware voltage so i must be 100% sure before changing anything... i do not want to screw up my new build. As for cases you listed the antec 900...

it's possible that i will not use all the headroom, but the ram cost me just about 30$ more... that's not big, as for the monitor, if i want to professionnal monitor (panel other than TN) they will cost me AT LOT MORE than 30$ saved on ram. So for the monitor i will have to stay with a TN...

Corsair's XMS2 2x2GB PC2-6400 kit actually cost the same thing as the Mushkin PC2-8000 Redline which is in rebate. I want to know if the Mushkin PC2-8000 Redline actually are good module ? worth it since i can get it at the same price of others 6400 modules.

ATM the G.SKILL PI Black 4GB DDR2 800 on Newegg.ca is at 77.09 (64.85 USD) but unfortunatly shipping is expensive on newegg.ca (17$ to ship) and i just seen another deal, there is the Mushkin XP2 8000 Redline (2x2 GB) going for 79.55 (66.92 USD) with 0.99$ Shipping! those are tempting.

Why not PC2-6400 ? just for better performance. Maybe if i go with PC2-6400, it will be G.SKILL PI Black 4GB DDR2 800 which run timing 4-4-4-12 at 1.9v. and it's true it's a lot cheaper than PC2-8500. Maybe i should consider getting 8 gig if this 800 mhz ram instead of 4 gig of 1066 mhz.
