    I was afraid of that. I tried a manual trim, no luck :( I'm kind of irritated with newegg right now. I bought the samsung and 2 wd blacks from them last summer. One of the wd blacks failed after 3 months and now the ssd is on its way out.

    No OS installed yet, the drive is blank. The BIOS recognizes it properly but when I go to prep the drive, it fails. fdisk, partedmagic, the xp installer and even dban fails with the board. I tried another drive on it (also a wd) and get the same results.
