Ok I think that did it! Booting from the Windows setup CD, it showed the 3rd drive as unpartitioned space. So I'm now in the process of formatting it! I assume (and hope) Windows will show the new drive once it's finished. One quick question: This won't erase anything from my other drives...

I was just about to do exactly what you suggested and file away part of the plastic pad. Then I decided to try rotating the backplate 90 degrees. The directions don't show it oriented like that, but anyway, it works.:) Thanks.

Anyone have the ASUS P5K-E?

I'm also deciding between this board and the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P (see my thread). Most people seem to recommend the P5K-E. The only concerns I have with this board are with the generic firewire controller and the USB issues some people are reporting.
