Help me find my webcam

I have a similar Asus laptop and spent a month trying to get the webcam working in skype. Ended up just buying a logitech webcam for $25 and it worked no questions asked. I know this is not the answer you are looking for, but I have been down this road and it is fraught with peril. good luck

Acronis True Image 2010 at Best Buy

Updated: Problem Identified, have a few follow on questions

Sounds like it is either a bios issue or a hardware issue. If it is a bios issue then after a reset/clear or a flash check to see if the first PCI-e slot works. If so then life is good, your bios got a bit off, either from the settings or somehow corrupted. If neither of those seems to change...

Maybe i haven't been as clear as I should have. I am not worried about IDE or SATA cables. The motherboards do ship with them and so do many drives that use them. If you need more, they are relatively cheap and widely available. Nor am i discussing case connections, audio, power switch...

Well now you make it a question of degree. Sure your board came with 3 ports, gave you one bracket and you have stuff to use the other 2. Some of these boards come with 6 or even 8 on board usb headers and ship with just one bracket.
