    I did have those names confused. But not in the way I'd like. Where are you checking? I think the chips out are Athlon 64 Mobiles. Based on the Clawhammer (130nm). I don't know what they are naming the new Athlon 64 Mobiles based on the Oakville (90nm) but that's what I meant by the "new" cpu.

    I think it was announced as shipping last month. But what companies are selling them? And do you think it is worth the wait? The current athlon xp-m is just a modified athlon xp. The new oakville shrinks down to 90nm die size, should be cheaper to produce, cooler, and more efficient. Opinions?

    Is that to say that ATI DVD player is incapable of AC3 and so is MS Mediaplayer 9? Mediaplayer has the option for 5.1 but it is greyed out. I'll give PowerDVD or WinDVD and see. May not be able to get to it till Monday though. Thanks for the response bassoprofundo.:)
