My Z370 ITX board died last night. I checked everything else including reseating it, two separate case installs, and different power supplies. I pieced together the best parts of my HTPC and the leftovers from the gaming set up:
Z170 Gigabyte Gaming 5 ITX, 6700K, 2 x 8GB 3200 ram, 1TB SSD, GTX...
got the code in an email and redeemed it on Steam and it said it worked but there's nothing to download. The website doesn't help either.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? I redeemed the original code when I installed the NWO and got the alpha code the other day.
You could but it would run at 100% and be fairly loud. I would check with the Swiftech reps at Overclock.net. They've been really helpful to me and a lot of others.
Have you tried connecting a fan to the CPU header on the motherboard? It could be the board too. Or you can hook the pump to a sata connector via adapter and it'll run at full speed if its not dead which is how I bleed and leak test my systems. That way you'd know for sure if its the motherboard...
I started out with a Swiftech H220X and added a block to my 290 and an extra radiator. Not a bad start to water cooling. The H220X gives you a lot for $150.
I'd say if you like RTCW you'll like it. The play style is very close and there's a point in the game where you make a choice that gives you a second story line to play though. There are a bunch of secrets to find as well if you like that stuff. I'm playing through it for the second time...
I had a bunch of trouble seating an H80 but the H60 I replaced it with is fine. apparently the bracket production is inconsistent and they don't always seat well. I'd exchange it and see if that works.
Good luck! These issues are never fun!
The fan controller sounds like a short or something. I'd disconnect and reconnect everything attached to it and make sure all of the connections are good and see if that helps including the connector to the switch inside the front panel.
It could be the power supply or the molex connector...
I did it with the H220 for my CPU/GPU and it made life easy. It's really easy to add stuff but the head unit can limit you on some motherboards or cases due to it's size.
For fun is a good enough reason to water cool.
The cooler on my 680 was whining and temps were in the low 80s while benching. I put the two fan one on my 680 and it has to loop the bench twice to hit 56 degrees. It's ugly as hell so I may add it to my H220 for fun.
How is the slo-mo video? I'm looking for a camera for recording my clean and jerks and snatches at the gym. If this will do it well I'll wait until my upgrade and not get an extra camera.
I just got this case. I'll be messing around with a custom watercooling kit for the cpu/gpu for a fun tinker project. Got lots of research to do though.
I'm not sure how long it's been. I got annoyed at the loud fan on my cooler and replaced it now i noticed the wobble on my card. I'll blow it out tomorrow and see if that helps.
Thanks! I tried that but it's the same as the Xtuner. I can't get it below 30% for some reason. I tried adjusting the bar graph but I couldnt get it to stick.
Its the launch version so I've had in 9 months. I dont see anything on thier site and i tried the Xtuner to control the speed but it's locked at 30%. It's noisey like it's out of balance.
Is it something i can do myself or should I email Galaxy?
I was going to get an Auria but every time i was at the one in Westmont they had 3 new and 8 open box. i just went with a U2713HM. no regrets whatsoever. Yes its more expensive but there are deals out there to be had.
I'm looking for some near field bookshelf speakers for my computer. I'd like to toslink from the PC to the HK3490 and power a pair of speakers. I'm looking for some flat sounding speakers for gaming, movies, and ALAC Itunes music.
My budget is around $500 for the pair. I dont have much...
went with the 1713(BB pricematched to Amazon at $49) and CS10(Frys priced matched Amazon to $119) and the setup was a breeze.
I watched Drive and it was immediately better. I cant wait to watch some other movies to listen to the difference.
I have a Sony CT550W soundbar mainly for the HD decoding and HDMI inputs. It does alright with most movies but not all. Would going to a 3.1 system get me enough improvement to make it worth it?
I have a pair of Polk TSi400s from another system I used to use. I was looking at the Denon 1713...
I'm loving it! I'm playing an engineer with a monocle with a bulldog named Winston. Running around with a cannon is so much fun!
"Put the lotion in the basket!"
The only PCIE slot is right above my 680. I could move it up then the X-Fi would block the fan partially underneath the card.
I suppose I could optical to a DAC then to the speakers.
I'm looking for a flat(ish) system for gaming and lossless music for my PC. I'm using an onboard soundcard on my motherboard(Realtek ALC892) and a pair of Bose Companion IIs.
I have a Titanium X-Fi not installed that I can use the RCA connections for if that ends up being the better route...
Got my first legendary:
Puzzle Ring level 40
+83 Dexterity
Health Globe Adds +758 to life
6 yards added for gold and health pick up
Treasure Goblin sometimes spawned when hit.
What should I asker for it? I'm a level 49 warrior and its the only character I have.
