Intel to Release Wolfdale Jan 20th, Why Sunday?

Intel always launches stuff on Sundays for as far as I can remember, not that I exactly track these things. I'm fine with it so long as the physically launch as I want one by the end of the week.

Slight overclocking problems

I'm not familiar with the P5K but all those options should be within the BIOS. The C1E, TM2, and SS bit is a odd, try it multiple times perhaps? The RAM dividers tend to have all sorts of different names but from what I can tell, look for a field labeled "DRAM Frequency". Wish I could be of more...

anybody use CIA2 on gigabyte motherboards to overclock their CPU?

Just manually overclock. With an E6600 you can get a 40-50% overclock with ease. Just spend an hour or two playing around in the BIOS, the DS3 BIOS is tiny, and get an idea for how your system responds. Even on a stock cooler you should be able to hit 3.2-3.4GHz and anything better 3.6GHz should...

MSI Neo2-FR and E2180 Overclock Issues: 266x10 Max?
