who even shops at those stores though? Best Buy always seems to have a really nice pc gaming section. People were saying pc gaming was dead 5 years ago but there is still too many decent games for me to ever play on the market.
interesting article thanks. I have a 2232BW which supposedly has more input lag than the 226bw but in all other respects is a much nicer screen. I don't notice the input lag at all and that is probably why. 2232BW should probably be on the recommended list because although it still suffers...
turning down the brightness will obviously make it less visible. in my experience sometimes backlight bleeding gets a bit better with time to. I don't know why but wait a few days and see for yourself.
If you get the 19 even if you are happy with it to begin with in a few months I gaurantee you'll regret it. 22 is becoming the new standard over 19 very quickly now. As I said before there honestly isn't much dif in the text size between them but with the 19 you'll be missing out on the great...
I am thinking about doing this to except with some A-Data ram. I screwd up and bought 2 x 1 gb a couple of months ago because I thought it would be enough but it's not. Would another 2 x 1 gb set be okay then? I thought using all 4 slots was said to be a bad thing.
you might want to consider the BW instead at Best Buy. GW is the glossy version which can reflect back light easily definitely making things harder to read.
there won't be much difference between 19 and 22 for reading so you might as well go for the 22 just because it will be nice and big in comparison. If you have a 20 inch ws, that is really hard to read.
well anyway, I got this keyboard last night and it seems pretty nice. I am used to cheap keyboards though so. I'm not sure what one person was talking about when they said the special function F keys are stuck on by default. Mine has them OFF by default so you can use the F keys like normal.
Well I went against your advice as I'm sure you could tell I was going to do by my previous posts and got the Samsung 2232BW. I think it is great so far. Colors look 8/10 out of the box and UT3 plays great. I was a little worried about the reports of input lag compared to the 226bw but it...
Do not get the 226CW. It has over saturated colors and horrible input lag by many reviews. see here.

If you want a Samsung the 2232BW is good. I just got one and love it. Already tested with UT3 and works just as good as my old...
usb ports only use cpu cycles when something is plugging into them you morons. therefore it is in a sense.

it was noted on a couple sites in the reviews like behardware and digitalversus. two pretty respectable sites. after reading all the great user opinions of this lcd though I'm beginning to wonder if I should even care and just try it for myself.
I can't bring myself to buy that viewsonic. Apart from a couple good reviews there really isn't that much feedback around it on the web opposed to some of the other popular models. It only has a 5ms response time and a built in webcam which I would find totally useless. Yes it has a nice...
I am trying to decide between the 2232bw and 226bw. 2232bw looks so nice but I'm afraid of the input lag. 226bw on the other hand regardless of which panel you get should be at least good for gaming, and if you get an S panel by some chance great. There appears to be another model the 2253bw...
I used Vista 64 for a long time but switched to Vista 32 because after testing it seems a bit faster in just about everything but games especially run smoother.
yeah they did say though with the 2232bw despite Samsung still using different panels there isn't as much variation between them as there was with the 226bw. In any case what would your recommendation be right now in the $310-$350 range? I am planning on getting the 2232bw from Best Buy on...
I find it hard to believe you don't recommend the new Samsung 2232BW. It's got a great review at this very reliable site.

yeah it's nice but keep in mind it's a glossy screen. the 932bw at best buy might suit you better. won't reflect the light back messing up the picture in some cases. It's on sale this week to!
I've seen a lot of threads at various boards including this one about the temp sensor being borked in the e8400. I've also read that it's a bios/mobo issue with the new 45 cpus. What is the truth? Everywhere I look someone is claiming something different.
Actually I've been here a while I just made a new account for privacy reasons.

yeah the demo was a lot laggier than the retail version for me. I'm not sure if it was a bug with the demo or just because the servers I played on had a higher ping than the ones I can find in the actual game.
I don't have time to perform tons of benchmarks myself. If I was spending the amount of time you are on it though I wouldn't bother with the "cookie cutter" tests because they are pretty worthless anyway and focus more on on things like what chizow already mentioned. they are the true measure...
