ASRock P45TS good for overclocking?

I' m considering an ASRock P45TS mainboard: http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=P45TS , but I'm curious about the overclocking performance... Any experiences?

Budarow, you should check out this review: http://www.legionhardware.com/document.php?id=651&p=3 It's shows how much of the performance-difference between E2xxx, E4xxx and E6xxx is due to cache-size. Question is if FSB could be raised as high on E4xxx and E6xxx as on E2xxx. Does anyone here...

I think I'd go for an E2220 (12X multiplier) because of the better price compared to E4600. The extra cache that makes E4600 faster will also require moore volt, so I would guess it's easier to raise FSB with E2220 than E4600 with this mobo. I would guess you'd manage to raise E2220 a bit...

Ok, thanks. I'm trying to find some with Brainpower PCB and max 1.9volts now, but unfortunately the brands Adata, Gskill and Transcend aren't big in Norway where I live... It's not easy to find out what sticks have Brainpower PCB it seems. I wonder if some of these sticks has it...

Hello, any ideas what's the best RAM (2x1GB) I could buy for this motherboard? I think someone said PC6400 DDR800 would work and run on 667 mhz and be a bit better for overclocking than PC5400 ddr667, so maybe that's my best choice?

Yes, it says 266 mhz at default in bios when i set FSB-setting to manual. When it's at auto it boots at 256 mhz, but I reckon that's because it's e2200 Hmm.. Maybe there's a difference than.. Question is if the resistance is good enough or not..? Maybe it doesn't have to be ultra low...?

I did the BSEL-mod now, but it actually didn't help me get past the 3 Ghz wall (272 FSB), exept for 1 mhz increase in FSB, from orthos stable at 271 FSB to orthos stable at 272 mhz. But it improved my system (and 3Dmark score) anyways because I could run it with the "flexible"-option disabled...

What's my best AGP upgrade?

I tried that PSU-calculator and the result was 176 W without a video card. So with my 350 W PSU that should give me 174 W free for a video card if I am not mistaken..

A detailed test about that here, a bit old though (2006): http://www.xbitlabs.com/articl...wer-noise_3.html#sect1 EDIT If you don't have a lot of power-consuming equipment, I think you could have a good video-card, an AGP Geforce 7900 GS ,for instance, uses about 82 W on max.
