I have the same mobo and also a DQ6 both have the GSKILL 1066 Mem. I am running 4 2GB sticks in the DQ6 and 4 GB (2 @ 2GB) in the UD3P. Never any problems with either and the price is right. GSKILL has my business.
With Vista 64 and now Windows7 64 bit the 8 GB of ram kick butt.
The GA-EP45-DS5 will come out in August and it will only have 2 nic ports and it will have the 10 Sata ports like the DQ6 with Hardware Raid available. It is available in Europe now, but when I questioned Gigabyte they said it will not become available in the US until August. I am waiting to see...
