Yes. I edit text files on several servers so I can open them using a SSH connection built into UltraEdit and save the modifications directly to the server. Without the feature I would either need to transfer files back and forth between my machine and server or use Unix text editor in Unix...

NoteTab Pro

UltraEdit is more expensive but at least for me worth every penny. The possibilty to open text files on a remote server over SFTP is a big thing for me. Also PSPad is pretty nice and its free.

Secure upload to Windows machine

SFTP and SCP. Obviously your web host must support sftp/scp for it to work. You can use WinSCP as software.

How many people use an Administrator vs. a User account on their comp?

Since many games require Administrator account that's what I use. On Linux though I use an restricted account.

I use Cobian Backup in simlar situation as I want the files to compressed. It should be able to do uncompressed backups also.

Easiest way to stream video from pc to pc?

Your source upload defines the maximum throughput so you are limited to 800kbps. That said you can still do it assuming you get constant throughput. I would aim for around 500kbps streams. Look into Videolan

No, the drive usually slides from the either side when you open a few screws that hold the drive packaging. See here for example from Dell: Dell Service manual Some ultra light-weight laptops may trickier installation but in most cases it is very easy.

It's water under the bridge. If it's true it wouldn't surprise me one bit considering the track record that pro cycling has with doping. If we were to test other 5-10 year old samples in any sports I'm sure there would many other positives. Oh, and also repost.

Authenticating on the server does not help if the server is still theirs. The emails will still be handled and sent in plain text (unless of course they are encrypted) on that server and therefore available for monitoring. How about you providing him SSL encrypted webmail on your mail...
