my cpu in my acer laptop was running at 90C too. I fixed this by replacing the thermal grease between the cpu and the heatsink. It now is at 70C and it runs faster as it no longer slows down the cpu.
I forgot to mention i live in New Zealand. Shipping form other countries is expensive and our exchange rate is at its lowest it has been for many years.
I have an XFX 8800GT that I want to SLI. However as the 8800GT is being phased out it is becoming harder to buy them. New 9800Gt's are cheaper than 8800GT's.
