Also, the free version allow max 1000AAs only, limit the amount of platinums. Unless SOE allows people to buy AA and platinum unlocks to increase the limit, the free version is nothing more than a massive trail version that in the end, if you want to progress, you will need to pay monthly fee.

What size SSD for just Windows 7 and barely anything else?

Speaking of users directory, I found that iPhone backup is in AppData and it takes a lot of spaces! Everytime there is a major OS upgrade, iTune backups iPhone in a different file.. At one point, I have over 25GB iPhone backup on my 120GB SSD!

Read the dates of the post. The thread was posted one month ago... when the cause was probably not yet found. People just discredited OP and claimed that OP just had a bad drive. It was only afterwards that the issue was identified and a fix promised. OP is just updating the results now.

On the other hand, do you have the % of games represented by consoles? Console will be lagging behind in the genres that PC gaming is good on (esp strategy game). Basically, you need to have both PC and a console to have a good selection of all types of games.

Steam doesn't require always on connection, does it? There are times when I am playing game and unplug the LAN cable, and I remembered the game just continue play fine. Also, Steam does have offline mode. I think is you need to be online run it at least once, then you can run it in offline...
