  3. Crusader Kings II Released!

    Sunk over 200 hours into it so far. Its a really polished game, and the most current patch (1.05) has addressed basically every gripe I had with the game.

    Fallen Enchantress is an entirely different game. Its up to version 0.76, and its completely fun and playable. The AI is a little easy, and there are some tedious game mechanics and UI issues, but its MUCH better than WoM was. Give it a try if you get the chance :D

    Just wondering if anyone else is participating in the beta? I have been playing for several days now, and its coming along really well. Definitely shaping up to be what Elemental should have. There's still a long way to go, but its already much more playable and fun than WoM ever was.

    I honestly can't play RPGs as old as Gothic 1 and 2 anymore; they look and feel so dated! Gothic 3 is basically the cusp of crapiness I can tolerate in appearance. Risen was at least as bad as Gothic 4... both were terrible.

    Man, you guys are total monitor snobs. I have a 50" Panasonic plasma G20 series wall mounted above my desk, and it kicks the living **** out of any CRT I've ever used. The 16:9 provides plenty of space for paper writing and research and its sexy as hell. CRTs can RIP.
