PCTV Pro no stereo sound when capturing

That update is for windows 98SE So I went searching for a solution on the MS website and I found that the problem was indeed a shutdown problem confirmed by MS. But the thing is, it's a problem with Win98SE and I have the first edition. I tried and installed Win98SE and now my problem was gone...

If I disable ACPI in the BIOS, my CPU temperature in windows rises with 20°C (as if windows is constantly running something). Is this normal?? If I run cooling software it returns to it's normal operating temperature. Can someone check this on his computer?? Just disable ACPI in BIOS and...
