Asus just came out with a gaming laptop. I think it's called the W90. It has 2x4870 video cards and an 18" or thereabouts screen. Last I saw it was around $2200 USD. Rumor has it that someone had a quad core in it overclocked and it scored 20k in 3dmark06. The average seems closer to the 15-16k...
When looking at the screen of my newly purchased 7811FX laptop, the left side has an area of white blotchy haze. It's hardly visible from straight on and gets more visible the further to the left you move your head.
Someone on newegg reviewed the notebook and said that it just requires some...
By native copy do you mean the ability to drag and drop files? If so, sometimes yes. Other times, it's installer programs trying to do the work. For instance, battle for middle earth 2 and my orange box disks both experience this problem.
I would like to learn how to re-register these MS...
Ok. So i recently reformatted my comp with windows XP and then added SP3
Everything about the computer is working flawlessly except when I attempt to copy files from a CD or DVD whether it be manually copying or installing a game or other program.

My question to everyone is, should I be looking for more texture memory for future games?

While i can still get it at this price, do you think it would be worth getting a second one? It's a few hours until the bestbuys around me close and they all have stock.
Thanks for the input guys. I'll try and get a few newer games to play on it and see how things go. Maybe i'll grab a second one . It seems like 2 of these for 300 total would be a better deal than a $300 4870 anyways.

With that in mind, I would still say keep the rocketfish. I am really impressed with the overall quality and simplicity compared to the TT Armor (if you're considering things other than cooling). Also, you may be able to take your reciept back to the store and get them to price match a clearance...
save your money bud. I just switched from the Thermaltake Armor that I bought almost a year ago to the Lian Li

Today, dailytech announced another ATI price cut on the 3800 series making it about $140 and $160 for the 3850 and 3870 respectively. I would be more than happy to pick up a 3870 at that price.
However,
The first time they announced a price decrease, it never happened. I've seen prices...
