Yea, best plan for me too, so that was a nice surprise. I had the same plan from Blockbuster but switched to Netflix because their MSTK selection is a lot better. Netflix seems a day slower though.
Why would it be warez? These games no longer being made and sold, so the manufacturer loses nothing.
Great classic games there, remember a lot of them.
I've been using Usenet even before there was a WWW, back when it was just colleges and government. Used to have to edit the parts by hand using vi, then uudecoding them. Even then we thought it was great.
However, the last few years has seen the euro porn sites flood the erotica binaries...
The 2510a is the dual layer burner, not a hacked 2500a.
NEC introduced its first dual 8x DVD recording drive ND-2510A, that supports beside 8x write speed for DVD-R and for DVD +R media as well as 4x write or rewrite with DVD-RW and DVD +RW media to write up to 8.5GB on the new double layer...
I have not used a floppy in 4-5 years. I boot from CDs, and transfer data using CD-RW or USB flash drive.
My local high school sells their old computers at auctions. You can get 4 P166 computers with printers and monitors for $2 http://esurplusauction.com/IANAuction/ca?ianac=view&auc=51989...
Yeah I like totally got Windows XP Pro for FREE from my university!!! What a hot deal!
I do believe that under the license agreement you have to remove the software from your system once you are no longer a student.
What brand of blank disc you guys use? Anything cheap and reliable?
I use Ritek G03, less than $50 shipped from newegg for a 50 spindle. Never a coaster on my 851S or my old Pioneer A03, and 100% compatibility with many DVD players. 4X, but that is fast enough for me.
I think all Cal State schools are different. Cal Poly students used to be $10 for XP pro full, and $10 for Office XP, free checkout for staff for home. Not sure now, I think the original agreement expired.
They don't even have 8x media out yet,
Watchoo talking about vortix? http://www.meritline.com/dvd-plus-r-8x-blank-media.html.
My PD/Lite-on 851S works great from the last OM deal. DVD+R at 8X, DVD-R at 4X. Maybe you were referring to 8X DVD-R media? None of the PDs will burn 8X DVD-R...

does that mean the deal is dead?
No, it always says that. That is just contact information.
But that deal is long dead, if they only had 225.
These Newegg Ritek deals are covered quite well, but I do have to say going back to my old A03, I have never had a coaster with Ritek G03 and G04s, and 100% compatibility in many DVD players. Ritek, there is no substitute.
