5820k $320 Microcenter

Had a relative in Houston ship me one of these from MC in early December. I love the chip. Have it overclocked to 4Ghz and it is speedy and stable. I know I could probably coax more out of it, but I don't feel I need it. Anyway, it was $320 at MC when I ordered it.

Are AMD processors worth considering for mid to high end?

Cheap 3TB Toshiba HDD - is there a catch?

AMD FX 8320's performance in games. Is it that bad?

All right, Mac experts, let's talk SMB.

Mavericks SMB support is horrible. I have been trying to help the folks at my wife's office with their Mac/Windows Server file share environment. OS X drops connections (SMB/CIFS and SMB2) like hotcakes. Some of the machines in the office disconnect all the time and their is no rhyme or reason...

GE60 notebook Frontpage review

Don't know about the warranty, but I ended up doing it anyway on my new GE60 Apache Pro. It came with 1x8gb and I threw in another stick for 2x8. Just ordered an m500 for one of the msata slots this morning. Btw, I really like the notebook so far. Beautiful IPS screen. Runs games very nicely...

Sharepoint 2010 Admin Content database growing

Depending on how large or complex your site is, I can think of two things off the top of my head that might be adding to your problem. You might check your search and indexing settings. That can take up quite a bit of room. Also check your log level settings as well.

1333 or 1600 for Sandy P67

Q9300 for $139... any best OCs?

I've had mine for a couple of years. Great little processor really. Holds up nicely, and still handles pretty much anything I throw at it. Best I could do between two different motherboards is 3.37 and it has been stable there since I have had it.

Vertex 2 is SF-1200 and so is the Phoenix Pro. Same drive for the most part, except G.Skill must be doing something different (right). They don't have near the percentage of failure that the Vertex 2 does from what I have read.
