I recently purchased this motherboard for mATX setup...
this uses DDR ram and has 1 AGP, 3 PCI slots
its supposed to be able to run an AMD XP Processor....
however, I was searching for mATX cases and I don't think power supplies come at very high Wattage specifications..

anyone here who is into "high-load" networking knows you only should use 3com or INtel based NICs..
those d-link, linksys, and kingston cards are cheap...but you get what you pay for. I don't think you would see different for a personal computer going on a DSL connection....but for multiple...
I have never tried this card...
but I heard this card is like a WinSound...basically everything is software driven.
if you are just using it for a desktop and music, I think its a great deal. if not, get that SQ2500 for games...

got my stick, but doesn't say TwinMOS when I test it w/ sandra
it only says 128MB 16x8. CL3 133mhz.
I am running it at cas2 103mhz though.
so...
is there a way of testing it to see if its twinmos?

hey guys. I lined up this morning, and they only had 5 in stock. I say thats freaking false advertising. they have 5 of drives and they post a sale on it. thats very unfair. more people took advantage of the sale too early and now, people who saw the ad and thought they were gonna get it...
@ buy.com, they have the drive for like $146.99. you could pricematch that. I am thinking about it, but so many cdrs that are 8x4x32 are coming out for like under $100. so I am gonna wait.
anyone here have knowlegde in setting up a task like this one? I am looking for information and have come across very little. please lmk if anyone has done it before.

I don't think there is a huge difference in 24x and a 32x in a IDE CDROM drive. my uncle owns a 24x toshiba and he has never had problems with it. so we will see how it turns out. I got a 24x, one for me and one for my uncle.
