    Thanks for the advice guys, I went to walmart and picked up a targus sd only reader for $8 and popped in my adata 16gb card, just installed dead rising to it! Man its nice to not have the drive running when playing a game.

    I was wondering about how picky it was with the reader and media. From what I've seen of reviews, it seems like a crapshoot if thumb drives will pass its data loss test or not and I've noticed the xbox won't read cards off my multi reader. I might try a single slot reader and hope for the best.

    How much do you want to spend? .22 is cheap and fun but so are larger calibers. Maybe get a .22 rifle (10/22 if you want to mod it, marlin 60 for just cheap and accurate out of the box, cz452 for a bolt action, marlin 39a for a sweet lever action) and then get something like a 9mm handgun.
